Sun Valley, Idaho

Welcome to the 15th annual Foodservice Economic Summit- a conference dedicated to bringing industry leaders together in an intimate format for idea sharing and development within the food industry.

This annual conference will continue to focus on the issues facing manufacturerÌs and operatorÌs in the current economic environment.  As such, we are pleased to be welcoming Dr. Barry Asmus as our opening session keynote speaker.  Dr. Barry Asmus has been named by USA Today as one of the five most requested speakers in the United States. As a Senior Economist for the prestigious National Center for Policy Analysis, Dr. Asmus does more than just speak on policies, he is actively involved with their implementation. With over twenty-five years experience on the speaking platform, Dr. Asmus presents a powerful picture of AmericaÌs future, both here and abroad.  Please visit his website for more information on his background and biography- www.barryasmus.com.

By popular request, Kevin Hall will be returning to lead us through the day 2 session.  Kevin's program from 2009 was very timely given the economic challenges we all faced personally and professionally.  Kevin challenged our conventional thinking and allowed us to focus on ourselves and businesses as we prepared to operate in an unsettled market.  As we look to 2010 we will engage in developing action plans around the challenges our industry faces.

Kevin Hall is a highly sought after business consultant, speaker and author on the subjects of leadership, sales, and goal achievement.  Kevin has been featured in Forbes Magazine, Restaurant Business, NationÌs Restaurant News and Worth magazine.  He has just released his latest book- Aspire, which is focused on finding purpose in life and business.

Kevin was a partner in Franklin Quest, makers of the Franklin Day Planner.  As Vice President of Sales and Training he helped fuel FranklinÌs worldwide growth and achievement of over $400 million in annual sales.  Kevin was a key member of the leadership team that engineered FranklinÌs successful initial public offering in 1993.  He was Franklin QuestÌs top sales producer and teaching consultant for several consecutive years prior to leading the sales force.

Day 3 will highlight the return of our operator panel, which has been absent for a couple of years. The panel will be moderated by Greg and Joe who will lead us through a vibrant session with the esteemed operators listed below.

We look forward to seeing you in Sun Valley!
